Fundacion Paniamor is a child-right centered Costa Rican, non-profit, non partisan, private organization, of a preventive and technical nature. The Center is a research and education center aim at promoting the health of the palestinian children and their families. The main areas of the Center's work is tackling reproductive and psychosocial health of Palestinian children and adolescents. The Child research Unit is established in 2000 for promoting child research in Palestine in collaboration with other researchers from the university and outside university. The main areas of research focus include; nutrition, trauma, citizenship, adolescent's life style and others.
The Faculty's primary research areas are aligned to strategic social policy within the transformation and development agenda of post apartheid South Africa. Many of the projects happen to be in the area of child welfare, many others are on researching children's own perceptions and life experiences. In addition to the research focus, theh Faculty provide post qualifying and continued professional development and training for a range of social service professionals, mainly in child welfare practice. The latter includes child welfare legislation, child protection and clinical work with children and families.
