The increasing urgency of human rights protections for future generations has been recognized by award nomination. Research project, “Aligning Human Rights Law and Development Policy to Promote Intergenerational Equity,” has been nominated for an “Innovative Idea” award by the Hague Institute for the Internationalisation of Law.

Equity for Children has launched a new long-term project entitled, 'Approaches to Equity'. The results of this project will gradually be published on the EFC website starting in July 2013. 'Approaches to Equity' aims to push forward the important agenda of children's rights and equity, especially in light of the post-2015 Millennium Development Goals agenda.
