The Childwatch International Board has recently invited members of the network and partners to submit proposals for funding of networking activities.

The Childwatch International Board has decided to allocate some financial resources for regional network activities in 2009. The regional networks have planned activities that support participation or representation at the Children's Rights at the Cross-Roads conference at the end of the year.

The Governance structure and by-laws were approved by the Key Institution Assembly in Hurdal, Norway 26 - 27 June 2005. The documents may be ajusted by the Childwatch International Board during the election period.

The Childwatch International Research Network is a global, non-profit, nongovernmental network of institutions that collaborate in child research for the purpose of promoting child rights and improving children’s well-being around the world. It was founded in 1993 as a response from the research community to the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child. The Convention is the basis for the Network’s common agenda.
