21st International Reconceptualizing Early Childhood Education Conference

Re-claiming the Indigenous Child, Family and Community; Pedagogies of Place - This 21st conference is the first to be held on the African continent. The Host Committee has planed experiences that will acquaint you with local and national programs for children and an introduction to the cultures of Kenya.

The first Reconceptualizing Early Childhood Research, Theory and Practice Conference (RECE) was held in Madison, Wisconsin in 1991. Since that time, conferences have been held in locations across the U.S. and in Australia, Norway, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Palestine, UK, and Canada.
