The Children's Environments Research Group (CERG), provides a link between university scholarship and the development of policies, environments, and programs that fulfill children's rights and improve the quality of their lives. CERG is concerned with both theory building and the practical application of research and has particular expertise with involving children themselves in the research process.

KeKi is an interdisciplinary centre, supported by an interuniversity platform of researchers affiliated with the following institutions: University of Antwerp, Free University of Brussels, Ghent University, University College Ghent and University of Leuven. The Catalan Interdisciplinary Research Network on Children’s Rights and Children’s Quality of Life (X.C.I.I.I.) is formed by twelve research groups at five Catalan universities and consists of seventy-six researchers.
