Invitation to participate in survey on ethical research with children

Childwatch thematic group “Building Capacity for Ethical Research with Children & Young People” invites researchers in universities, NGOs and government agencies to complete a survey on ethical research with children. The survey will identify the ethical issues and challenges in undertaking research with and for children and identify and collate existing ethics guidelines and resources in use in different countries.

Invitation to participate in the survey can be found here>>

Please access the survey here>>

The survey is being distributed internationally on November 17 2010. The survey is very short and will take no longer than 15 minutes of your time. Childwatch International highly appreciates your assistance in completing the survey and encouraging the participation of your research colleagues. The gathered information will be very valuable to future child related activities around research and training, and a large response from all regions of the world is key to the success of this project.

Responses to the survey are requested by 10 December 2010.

Any enquiries about the survey should be directed to Mary Ann Powell (email: mapowell [at] clear.net.nz) who is coordinating the project.
