A training course for young Latin American researchers was organized in Colombia in November 2007. This was part of a one year program consisting of three phases. The training is focusing thematically on children's participation.

The Childwatch Regional Network in the Middle East and North Africa Region organized a one week training course in general social science methodology with focus on research about and with children. The course included lessons in social child research theory as well as practical rehersals.
