New Publication: 'Rights of Adolescent Girls in India: A critical look at laws and policies'

This new book has been published by Vacha Charitable Trust and written by  Saumya Uma at the Vacha Resource Center for Women and Girls in Mumbai, India.The book critically examines laws, policies and international conventions as they affect girls in India.

The suggested contribution for the 374 page book in India is Rs.500/- so that it reaches people active in the field of Child Rights and Women's Rights easily. The contribution expected from international organisations and individuals is USD 15.00 for the book and additional charge for postage is USD 5.00. Thus the total cost would be USD 20 for the book. For Nepal, Bangla Desh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the same charges apply as in India.
