Childwatch International Regional Networks

In order to facilitate dialogue and mutual capacity building between the member institutions of the network, Childwatch International supports regional networks of child researchers.

Through continued financial support to regional networks the Key Institutions will have the opportunity to raise and address child research issues of specific importance for that particular region. The regional context offers a good and relevant platform for development of capacity building and establishing links to regional institutions with influence on the child rights policies. The regional networks represent cost effective opportunities for involving more staff of Key Institutions in international networking.

Through this effort well functioning regional networks currently operate in the following regions:

Asia and the Pacific

Central and Eastern Europe

Latin America and the Caribbean

Middle East and North Africa

Sub-Saharan Africa
